We were bowled over when we walked through the doors of Still Waters. It was lovely and there wasnt a moment when you were sitting enjoying the peace when you didnt think " this is a lovely villa". The location was quiet, peaceful and felt very private although clearly there are neighbours, not least the wildlife that walked by that added to the charm of the place. The view beyond the pool to the lake made you feel that you were the only family there. It felt very safe and tranquil. Our every need was catered for. I cant remember thinking I wish they had x,y, or z. All that we required from our activities was usually there. We were so near the resorts and this was handy for getting young children back when they became overtired. The kids loved the pool and they developed their swimming skills and confidence in the water. All of this was so much better than our last visit when we were squeezed into bedrooms, living on top of each other, in the Disney resort. The space at the villa allowed a bigger group of us to have our own areas and there wasnt one niggle from anyone. The pool table was a big hit. Remember to take your unlimited drinks cups back to Universal if you visit both parks on different days! We enjoyed eating at the Italian restaurant (I think it was the Olive Garden - Turn Left, beyond Harley Davidson) but try to book ahead or expect a wait. We also enjoyed the Bubba Gump eating experience at Universal. It was a splendid holiday and we will remember it fondly.
